About 2

Glacier Nordic Club is a Montana community Nordic ski club located in beautiful Whitefish, MT. We groom and maintain trails in two locations: the Glacier Nordic Center located at the Golf Course at Whitefish Lake (12k) and on the Big Mountain trails located at the base of Whitefish Mountain Resort (about 10k; our trails connect to other groomed trails for a rough total of 23k up there). Skiers of all ages and abilities enjoy the golf course trails; advance skiers enjoy the Big Mountain trails (steep and curvy descents/ascents).

We also offer ski education programs for youth aged 4–18 and adults.

Our Mission

Glacier Nordic Club, Inc. (GNC) is is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Since it was established in 1984, GNC strives to instill a life-long love of cross-country skiing for anyone who skis on our trails. It seems like we’ve stayed on course with that mission. Parents who pulled their kids in sleds on the ski trails are now watching those kids compete in area races. Ski team members go on to compete in college Nordic programs. Whitefish Mountain Resort continues its support of our grooming the Big Mountain Nordic Trails. And our volunteers come out and support us year after year.

We love what we do. We love watching you ski!
